Low testosterone refers to a condition where the body does not produce enough testosterone. In men, normal testosterone levels range from 300 to 1,000 nanograms per deciliter (ng/dL). For women, normal levels are much lower, typically between 15 and 70 ng/dL. When levels fall below these ranges, individuals may experience a range of symptoms that can affect their quality of life.
