This makes the spray suitable for use in stoma care, where the barrier is applied before each appliance change, and in wound care, where a dressing with an adhesive border is applied over the periwound skin that has been protected with the spray.

Skin Preparation

• Cleanse the skin gently and allow to dry before applying the spray.
• Apply moisturiser first if this is part of the skin care routine and allow it to absorb.

Application

• Hold the pump spray approximately 10 to 15cm from the skin surface.
• Actuate the pump to deliver a fine mist over the target skin area.
• Cover the full area requiring protection with an even application.
• Allow the film to dry briefly before attaching any adhesive product or appliance.
• Do not rub the spray into the skin. Allow the film to form naturally on the skin surface.

After Application

• Attach the stoma appliance, adhesive dressing, or other adhesive product over the dried film.
• Reapply at each skin care occasion after cleansing.

Hold the spray at the correct distance from the skin to ensure an even fine mist rather than a concentrated wet patch. Too close a distance may deliver excess solution to a small area. The correct distance ensures even film coverage across the skin surface.

Sorbaderm No Sting Pump Spray 28ml

The 28ml pump spray bottle provides a supply for multiple applications. The number of applications from a single 28ml bottle depends on the size of the area sprayed and the number of pump actuations used per application.
